what is up with hb? Besides the "updated" sucky version of it, I haven't even been able to get on for a couple of days! Happy new year, rog. Don't know if you will check this or not, but i hope 2009 is full of wonderful things for ya!
Do you know of another board that we can go to that has a similar setup? Hb "updated" was slow, hard to navigate, and what seemed impossible to make "pretty" I don't know where else to go, but kinda liked our little scene there...

Sorry about that Miz LB, it can be a bit of a hassle signing in here as a guest, but at least we can still check up on each other here since HB is STILL down (it's been a long ass 72 hours!)

it really does make you feel good when you walk in and everyone greets you, We have a regular table in the back because we bring people with us or meet friends there. Toni is always our waitress and she keeps us updated when the steaks are ready or when the hot rolls are coming out. she is a real sweatheart and always gives us excelent service.

I have been monitoring my bloodsugar on a regular basis now (2-3 times a day), I don't crave the sweets like I used to (I have been craving fruits and veggies) I missed my Dr appointment and my Dr is now on vacation so I won't get my results until January when he returns.

I have done about 3 paintings so far, It will take a few practice paintings before I feel comfortable with the brushes. I have started using gesso to prime my canvas board and it really makes blending colors on the canvas so much easier.

(i am also apparently the numbered poster in the thread underneath this one :-/

i did type lovebuzz as my name, not sure what happened.
i type in the dingbat security check as requested, but it comes back as incorrect almost every time. what a pain!)

didn't really want to get into this here, but since HB is down and i don't see a PM option here, i'll have to, at least slightly.

i feel kinda pitiful bad about it too, Rog... but eh, i hope you'll still be displaying Christmas stuff for a little bit after the fact

will explain elsewhere when HB is back up, just not so comfy doing it here.

i am wishing you a very Merry and Happy, Healthy and Peaceful Christmas though,
even if your little package from the Hoboes and I is late.
